It’s been a fantastic year, and I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot with some brilliant crews and have gained so wonderful new clients. I’ve had the opportunity to travel to some incredible locations and have really enjoyed every project that has come my way.
I kicked off my shoot season with something a little more local with a new project for Cambridge Audio, shooting at a location house just up the road from me in Hackney. No passport or carnet required for this project.
Working on a stills and motion campaign for the quintessentially British brand was a great experience. I was trusted with the project and given lots of creative freedom. It was awesome to work with DOP Ollie Dahmen again and using his 16mm Arriflex SR3 HS camera we gave the film its unique cinematic look.
The challenge in the brief was to find a balance between attracting younger, tech-savvy customers whilst still appealing to Cambridge Audio's older, more loyal clients, blending a modern feel with a classic, timeless aesthetic.
Collaborating with Manchester-based design agency Only Studios and the brilliant Cambridge Audio team, we came up with three creative characters to tell our story, showing how the beautifully designed audio products enhance our everyday real lives.
